Jess Shanahan to lead ‘Global EV Outlook’ session at the London EV Show

Speaking alongside leading policymakers, academics, and industry leaders, Jet Social founder Jess Shanahan has been invited to chair one of the opening day’s sessions at this year’s London EV Show. The popular electric vehicle exhibition and conference event is set to bring the e-mobility industry together at the London ExCel conference centre from 29 Nov-01 Dec.

As part of the Global EV Outlook and Current Adoption Trends session, Jess will also moderate a panel discussion featuring the latest academic and industry insights on barriers to EV adoption and the implementation of EV energy transition.

The second annual London EV Show brings together stakeholders from the global EV value chain for three days of policy discussions, tech insights, and product demonstrations across London ExCel’s sprawling exhibition space. Alongside this, there’s a packed program of international speakers and panel discussions across two conference halls.

We’re at a critical point for the e-mobility industry with energy demand, end-user adoption, and autonomous vehicles all posing key talking points. Because of this, the sharing of knowledge in our sector has never been more important.

Attracting government agencies, leading academics, policymakers, investors, and manufacturers, the London EV Show provides key opportunities for the sustainable automotive community to engage in knowledge sharing, partnership exploration, and adoption strategy implementation.

Speaking about her invite-only role, Jess is delighted to bring these important conversations to the ExCel stage, she says: “I’m thrilled to be joining an exemplary group of academic and industry voices. Government policies will be key in accelerating the uptake of EVs and I’m excited to learn more from the best minds in the business and ask the questions that uncover where our next leap forward will come from.”

Highlight exhibitors at the London EV Show include Tesla, Ford, Transport for London, and Jaguar Land Rover. The conference program brings to the stage more than 120 notable speakers, including Norwegian Minister of Transport Jon-Ivar Nygård, Dr Maya Ben Dror from the World Economic Forum, Board President of IMT Portugal João Jesus Caetano, and the newly appointed UK Minister for Transport, the Rt Hon Mark Harper MP.
